Our Confirmation program is designed for students in 6th grade through high school who wish to grow in their understanding of the Christian faith.
Classes are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. In addition, students gather four times each year with other River of Hope Ministries ELCA congregations for extended learning sessions on Sundays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Confirmation is a three-year program that follows a structured curriculum, including:
The Lutheran tradition and teachings
The Old Testament
The New Testament
Throughout the program, students also participate in service projects, putting their faith into action and serving others in meaningful ways.
What is Confirmation?
Confirmation is a time of intentional faith formation, where youth deepen their understanding of their baptism and what it means to live as a follower of Christ. During this journey, students learn, ask questions, pray, and grow together in faith.
At the completion of the three-year program, students are confirmed during a worship service, affirming their faith and becoming active members of the congregation, equipped for a lifelong journey of faith.
